I came across a problem on one of my machines in the arcade I work in. Now, I wanna try and solve it myself but I ave no idea what it could be. On the Reno Casino LCD screen of the machine.. It tries to load up.. but comes to a point where it will stop and come up saying "AC8 10p Play". The machine is a 10p play machine. I tried ram clear, I tried 10p hopper, removing.. cleaning and everything i put back in, I tried everything, But still the problem is there. What exactly could be wrong with it?

What does AC8 stand for?

Thanks.

For what I can see everything is fine. Yeah.. Its been working fine up until this day. It tries to fully load up cos I see a very short flash of the lights like its about to bring the lights on for its animation of light sequence, but doesnt it comes up the error instead.

But its not really an error, it just freezes on 'AC8 10p Play'

what make of machine is it?

if its a bell fruit or maygay machine the fault might actually lie with a psu fault if it keeps resetting all the time.

I believe Reno Casino is a Gamesoft.

This is a site for EMULATION purposes of older machines. Not playing strategies.
If you are more interested in playing modern machines,
visit Jackpottyforums

(DOND is around now on this site..... How long was this sig out of date...!)

Time to start swapping parts with the good base unit next to it.
