try using that, jar files are often compacted and not all phones read them. create a jad file and see if it works

i've got a feeling that its not possible with the E720 to upload Java games, other things are ok but not java and it cant be unlocked.
Lot of phones have had this issue in the past whereby the data cables are only able to be used for specific tasks and cannot be altered.
The sharp Gx10/GX20 was a prime example, the data cable for that was for next to nothing, upload your phone book and thats about it

Thats disappointing. I see no reason why they couldn't have left it in for this model, if they have it on nearly every other model!

its worth a go at that program I posted it basically sets up your pc as a WAP server and you can download it that way on the phone cable was useless for me but that method worked.

No need to extract this you transfer the .jar file to your phone.

All a .jar file is, is a glorified zip file, like I said transfer to the phone and install it don't need messing with any other way
