My eyes popped out of my head when I saw this. Why would you sell money to get money for a holiday?
I've never heard such a load of balls. Decidely dodgy if you ask me. Still you've got to admire the guys front. Selling £5000 for £10,000...lol

What makes the coins worth more than the face value? !!!!
I could go to my local bank and say
"can I have £5000 pound coins and I`ll give you £7500 in notes in return"
They would bite my hand off
And I wouldnt have to pay the p+p costs either
LOL

What i found funny about this was the part where he put "IVE BEEN A COLLECTOR OF POUND COINS FOR A FEW YEARS NOW"
Well in that case it must be kosha as i also am a collector of pound coins and i have been since they first came out in the 80's. UNfortunatly most of them are new kept in the local arcade now.

was thinking that meself, £2.36 postage!!! The weight of 5000 opund coins will be a shit load more than that...Still he has made £2500 profit i suppose so hardly gonna be out of pocket

Would be a good idea to get rid of fakes doing that, although selling for £2500 not £7500

even more bizarre who's going to shell out £10 million on an idea without actually knowing what the idea is . I wonder how much the auction cost to list
If someone does a prank bid he's going to have trouble getting his fees back from ebay l
