He he I noticed that too. You should have a red button on the mpu5 board. Press it twice and put the machine into test. Find coin test and you should be able to dump hopper

Hi, sorry the reason i rated it twice was because I have a vBullitin board (its blank!) and i wanted to see if users could rate there own posts!
Thanks to above poster i will try now.

Hmmm on my one I press the test button twice. The first press puts it into free play and second into test

You will have 2 Test switches, and need to press them BOTH at the same time.
There is the Red one on the MPU5, and there will be another one - grab a torch, open the bottom door, and on the left hand side - SOMEWHERE above the PSU, there will be another switch mounted on the wood of the cabinet.
Press that at the same time as the Red one and you'll get test mode.
I can press both at the same time but I'm pretty large and have fairly long arms. I believe the '2 test buttons' thing was introduced as an anti-fraud measure, so if 1 person attempted to get a pub/arcade machine into test to dump the hopper, it was very difficult as a 1 man operation and would attract too much attention (needing both doors open).

Probably not brilliantly described... the 2nd test switch will be in the left hand half of the cabinet (the right containing the 2 cash buckets). The switch is normally mounted on the underside of the reel mounting wood - it should be easy to see with a torch so I'm sure you'll get there in the end!
I noticed earlier on one of my machines, it wouldn't do a £1 dump with the bottom door and top door open, refill key in, and dump switch pressed, so I'm doing something wrong or the dump switch is a bit screwy

Hi, I have found the first set of DIP switches on the machine but i cant find the secound anywhere. The manuel says they are on the rear of the machine so i looked on the back and as i expected there was nothing there and i cant see them on the MPU5 (i only see the first set).
Thanks, Adam
Thanks, Adam

adamran if u open the upper door look behind the reels and look down at the power supply u will see hidden a switch.the switch is attached to the cabinet on the right hand side. that is the switch u need to press at the same time as the one on the mpu5 to get it into test

no problem adamran.
for those who don't know where the 2 banks of dip switches are on a mpu5.bank 2 is on a the programme card and the other bank which is bank 1 is on the main mpu5 board right in the corner of the board. near the corner of the dataport connection.
