On a serious point though, I can see a market (well, ok, not a market, more a niche) for machines like that.

I mean take the current WDX format. It (with sideart) takes up a complete screen.

I like the idea of suitable machines (pretty much only lo-techs) fitting into a nice small area, so they can be played on screen while having plenty of spare room to have a web browser open.

If I get a chance tomorrow I'll throw something together to demonstrate it.

oooh id like to see a little mini dx/thrown together that would br fun

AND there is already a market i do believe...most of the bingo sites have little ones in the corner of their bingo pages so while yer waiting for the next game you can "conveniantly" click on these baby minis and do more dosh while waiting for the next bingo round to start

Hmm, the main problem with MFME is that when you make the window smaller, you can't get rid of the menu options and meters... so it crams them in by stacking them on top of eachother.

Not very tidy.

Anyway, here's an example, admittedly it's very cut down (buttons not visible, win table not visible - but they could be added if required). The whistle area would be added in, probably between the reels and the nudge area.

Just gives an idea of what might be possible.

Yes - it could be made smaller - but the menu stacking problem gets worse, as does the door door switch area, in red on my picture. The door switches end up covered by the white meter area, showing 10 at the moment.

It is playable, I just had the doors open to try and get a pic with all the lights running.

You can hide the meters in MFME 2 by pressing F9, might help a bit :)

Ta DAD - this is in v9.4 but that'll definitely come in handy for any older machines :)

Forgot to mention as well, it's your DX I butchered to make this, hope you don't mind? It's not even an actual release, but still, thanks for the original DX :)
