Next time check your sources instead of posting about one of the numerous fake releases on the newsgroups.

There is no working boot disk for the 360.

not yet there isn,t. and i did check my sources thanx very much.
it was not nuked as a fake when it was posted thank you very much....
and if you have been following whats happening in xbox 360 scene you would realise that there is a real demo disc doing the rounds which does let you boot and play homebrew games. and this is an iso which is also available.
which i did post about so get your so called sources correct.m8

I beleive that one of the main problems is that the 360 will do a hard reset as soon as a disk is ejected therefore making a swap disk very difficult to do without a hardware mod. It may well end up like the PS2 swap magic disks where you have to rip the dvd draw open without pressing eject

but if you strip the kiosk dick down. and use it as a carrier you can run games ect. the stripped out disk already plays homebrew as the disk is digitally signed...

Just had to quote that before you had a chance to edit it. lol

The kiosk disk seems to have had a mixed response as to whether it can be used for anything though. Have to admit, it seems to be a major fcukup by M$ as there will be 100's of people trying to edit the disk to get it working other games. For every one person m$ employ to come up with copy protection ideas, there are 100's of hackers trying to break them.

It seems to me that a hell of a lot of money is spent trying to protect copyright only for someone to come up with a way to bypass it.

But would games cost less if there was no piracy? don't think so.
