Every now and then an old machine that you have not seen in over a decade and have fond memories of pops out of FME and smacks you in the mouth reminding you why you've stuck with the scene so long and not faded into oblivion, today my friends is one of those days. Cash Explosion is a truly cracking old machine from Bellfruit, When a fiver would last for hours and for me winning or losing were unimportant as the enjoyment of the play was worth every penny.

Thanks to FruitSim for supplying the roms and the photos, Bugs for his classic and assistance in building the DX and WAC for testing.

Great fruit machine Pook -

I do remember this one very well - the classics' are the best aren't they ?

only problem with the emulation I've found though - the top half of the board lamps don't seem to light up.

Has anybody else had this problem ? What version of the BFMulator should I be running ?

regards
Jay

Where you came from, is gone.
Where you thought you were going, was never there.
And where you're at right now, aint no good, unless you can get away from it.

I've downloaded this from Pook's site, as I remeber it well, and am looking forward to playing. But when I try to run it under MFME 2.0 or 3.0, just get missing layout file error.
Anyone else had this problem? Or Any ideas.

Unusually when the zip file is extracted, there are 282 files, mostly
.bmp and .png files, 1 x .gam file, x 2 .BIN files, and x4 text files for the reels.
But no .dat layout file.

What am I doing wrong?

This runs using BFMulator which you can get from this site, no need to extract the zip contents, just open the emu then drag the zip onto it.

A thousand thanks to Pook, Fruitsim, Bugs and WAC and anyone else involved with this release.

TBH, I think this is quite probably possibly the best layout I've played. I used to love BFM's of this era, particularly this one and 'Lynx'...

Cheers

Stuart
