Is it at all possable to run emulators on and xda (xda is a pocket pc i currently use for sat nav and loads of other stuff) now i know it would be pretty hard to see but i for one would put up with that if it means using these great programs on a pocket pc.

i don't think you can set it up for windows mobile as the emu creators probably didn't make it thinking someone would use it on that platform. although you may get lucky and i could work no problem. just try. you can always delete it if it does not work.

The answers simple, not a chance in hell!

These emulators are hungry applications, and the pda platform is basically a cut down PC, and the programs do have to be written for the OS, i.e. Windows CE and the like.

Gutted i though as i had a 512mb sd card that (with a little reprogramming) that we might be able to al least get a emulator to run on ppc2003 (of couse being able to make out the detail is another question but one i could live with) i have just tryed running it and i get the error message not a valid pocket pc application.

So is there deffo NO WAY AT ALL? even with the extra power my 512mb card gives me?

There is definitely no way this is gonna run on any PDA. From my companies experience with writing programs for PDAs we had to re-compile them for each chipset contained in a PDA. In fact the add-on for Visual Basic to compile for PDAs comes in at a whopping 3Gb on a DVD-ROM!
