Anyone here that has got/is thinking of venturing into this area?!

I have scowered the net and got a list of reviews, options etc, wondered if anyone here could tell me of their experiences with it?!

All Info greatly appreciated thanks in advance. :)

sounds like a Reserator or A Rocket to me, yes I want to avoid the cooling systems shaped like adult toys lol

I decided against the Rocket due to several complaints from people about the Rocket 'emptying itself' on their desks.

I got a Gigabyte 3D Galaxy in the end, and I was amazed at both how easy it was to fit, and how quiet it can be.

I paid £85.89 for the kit, including Next Day Parcelforce, from Eclipse Computers [ www.eclipsecomputers.com ]

I know people probably think I am mental, but I've managed to squeeze another 795MHz out of my Athlon64 3000 at the minute, and think theres more in there if I just increase the voltages a little more - but then it is 100% stable and nice and quiet now so maybe I'll just leave it :D

Heres is a nice rear action shot, it shows the radiator, which has a 12cm Blue LED fan in it. When I said easy to install, I mean it was a case of screwing a small bracket onto the radiator, and using the screws at the base of my PSU to hold the bracket. My 2x 8cm Coolermaster Red LED fans at the back blow air through it as well, which aids cooling no end :)

All in all I am nearly happy with the PC now, and the spec has changed no end from my original build a couple of months back :)

The hardest part of setting up watercooling is getting into the mental state where you accept that if it goes tits up you may lose a PC. That was the hardest thing for me, convincing myself I wouldn't mind if I ended up with a motherboard swimming in blue coolant :)

I think I need to buy a proper temperature probe, as according to my DFI LanParty board, the Athlon, despite being overclocked by nearly 800MHz, doesn't go above 35deg Celsius :)

Thanks for the input, somehow I knew you'd be the first to reply :)

Yes, this kit is one of my viable options atm, and from your piccy looks pretty sweet too.

Did you not test the kit first??! Or just a do or die plug it in see if it works effort?!

I just plugged it in and sat there wacthing it for about an hour lol.

To be honest the clips that hold the pipes in place are strong enough to break your fingers, so I was confident it would be held in place ok :)

Sorry the pic is so dark, that was more to exaggerate the lights and anything.

I'm very close to starting a 'show us your rig' thread as was done at FruitForums, I'm sure people on here have some interesting PCs they'd like to show off :)

to be honest, water and electronics dont tend to mix, you also run the risk of precipitation build up.

that said, for a custom pc, it looks the dogs balls, but at a price. stick to a silent fan and psu. and save a packet.

Custom PC (CPC) mag recently had an article on water cooling, more aimed at novice rather than serious overclocker though. Looked at 3 contenders.

Toying with the reserator plus1 myself, but switches on independantly from the PC. How dicey is that? How long would it be before the wife switches on the PC and not the cooler? If you can't find the website I'll try and dig the article out.

Some intersting reviews here http://www.silentpcr.../section12.html, though a sod to find anything, not organised too well.
