I have recenly downloaded about 2000 fme roms from the usenet. However, they are all zipped and contain .bin files and some sound files. All the emulators ask for .gam and .jpm. Are these files incomplete? I am missing something here? Are these just the roms and not neccesarily emulated yet? Any help appreciated!

You're right these are just ROMs with no layouts for any of the emulators. Some of them have already been emulated, some need to be emulated and some cannot be emulated.

Thanks. As none of them contain .gam files then I guess I might as well delete them and download the complete games when I find them. Is there any point in hanging on to them?

how much hard drive space do they take up???

If its not alot u might as well keep them ...
