Hi, ive downloaded a load of files of a newsgroup, all of them being zipped. Thats not really the problem but I dont know what to do with the P1 and P2 files. Ive tried using the Fruit Machine Emulator program pack and none of them play the files, zipped or extracted.

All I need to know is what to do with they. Are they layouts or ROMS or DX things. Please help me

P1 and P2 files are program files for the emulator.

Program 1, and Program 2. Roms basically.

Not much more to it.

Hard question to answer really. You load the roms through the various fruit machine emulators that are out there.

You'll need to know what technology the roms you're trying to load are also.

Some of the roms won't load because they're not currently supported in any of the emulators. Normally spACE, Scorpion 4, MPU5 and so on.

Layouts are in dat format - gam files hold the information for the layouts (what the layouts name is and what roms it uses), and roms are either bin, hex or P files.
