Now Now Go easy .. This is my First Layout

and what a layout it is


Thanks To UncleChicken and a Few Other Helps I Have Had

This is the 1st Classic DXer I have seen ever Released ... Must Look Simular to the real thing lol

I Have spent 1 day on this and what a bloody good result !!

Release : 1024 x 1280

Good for those laptops lol

At first I wasn't sure, but I've considered this 'classic in a cab' thing, and you've done a good job of it!

Only real problem will be that the filesize of your layout will be greatly increased, but then thats what 2Mbit ADSL is all about

Not just because you made one layout, you need to make a few to get the layout designer title, otherwise everybody would be releasing crap just to get it.

He could always take every classic that doesn't have a DX and slap that cab onto it. He would overtake Pook by creating more layouts than him within about 10 minutes and become the new FME messiah.

I bet Trouty's quaking in his kegs.

Alternatively likes, you could design your own picture to stick in the cab and make a sort of 'pseudo DX'.

Its better than the layout that I did for this machine, put it that way.

My layout designing skills are somewhat lacking... Just do them to pass the time really.

I'm not knocking the layout as such. Just pointing out that what you are doing is more realistically just a quick modification. As I said earlier, how about designing a picture for the cab that ties in with the layout itself. Then DX that?

I don't care at all what you do with any classic layout wether mine, unclechicken's or anyone elses for that matter. My point here is that we have had people who have simply taken a classic layout, moved some lamps at a total cost of about 2 minutes in time, only for them to release it as something they have created and then to wallow in undeserved appreciation. I don't recall them getting a pat on the back to be truthful.

But rather than creating any agro over it, which really isn't what I'm trying to do, I was simply suggesting that maybe you do a little more with it and maybe create a DX. Because no art exists, why not create the art yourself and fit that into your added cabinet? I thought it would have been fun to sort of 'create' a machine or rather a clone of it.

It's been done before and in some cases, to spectacular effect.

I think Compost means you should design some glass for the machine and DX that, not just add a background behind the classic.
