I have noticed this with a lot of machines playing with mfme, that the credits going in seems to go up faster than the amount you are adding. Every so often it registers and extra 10p or so. After putting £35 in each way nudger it registered £35.90.
Could someone in the know tell me if this is just an error in mfme counters or if the machine is adding non existant 10 pences.
I am not saying this is the designers skimming more money, the opposite, that would be if extra 10p's added to the payout lol. I just have noticed it with a lot of machines and have wondered why.

It would probably be worth trying the following if you have nothing to do
1) Load an emulation that :
a) does this 'miscounting' stuff
is easy to get into the machines Bookkeeping mode / VTP.
2) Reset the RAM
3) Play it until the MFME Meters are reading incorrectly [in your opinion].
4) Check the actual machines VTP against the MFME meters.
On most Barcrest MPU4 machines, getting into the VTP should be as easy as
1) Open cash door, [check Cash Door box]
2) Spin off a credit in demo mode,
3) Insert Refill key [check refill box]
4) Use the 'start' button to step through the machines own in/out meters.
Note that these are not the 'physical' meters you would have in the machine, these are the software meters.
I'm not sure any machine would knowingly add more to the physical meters than it should, but it's not something I've thought about before
