Can anyone help - I get this error message all the time! Do I need a later version of DirectX?
As a thank you for anticipated assistance, feel free to download a FREE fruit machine simulator programmed in Excel/VBA from my website:

Yup, I think that error only applies to BFMulator and JPeMu, and I had it downstairs running an un-upgraded Windows 2000 machine. Windows XP users would be unaffected as it ships with Direct X 8.1 [I think].
So..the only option would be to upgrade your Direct X :(
P.S I havent looked at the Fruit Sim yet, I am about to do so :)

Thanx Benito - I'm actually experiencing the problem with the MPU3/4 emulator. Before I take the major step of upgrading my DirectX (which i don't really want to do on my PII 350, 6.3GB, Win98 PC!), can anyone advise any other answer to the prob??
Hope you like the Excel fruit sim, Ben...
Cheers
