was in Nequay the other week, playing an adders an ladders on 25p £25, it had obviously been tampered with, as when the sankes flash on the machines its a JP, but this was still f*****g me off with a £1 winspin. Is this a chip, the only way of getting the JPr was getting them online only did this once in like £200. isnt this like fraud or something???

After working in arcades in newquay for several years and dealing with electrical leisure, I can tell you that If you are playing in one of Ross Connock's arcades all the machines are set to the minimum percentage payout that they will go onto.
It is also possable that there are some dodgey chiped machines, I think this because during the late 90's the company had many dodgy copy's of maygay machines like the orignal itallian job and the great escape and super pot's. These machines were all over newquay in bulk! The had taken old machines and put in really badly screen printed glass and very low percentage (50%) payout software.
I would recommend playing in carousel, I worked there and know the machines are on a good percentage (10p=80% to 95%=30p play)
Great western was very good once, but on my last visit to Newquay it looked a little suspect like it had changed hands, so I havent played there recently.

im from cornwall as well and play in on of the "kellam brothers" arcades. they own great western amusements (its not changed owners but a diffrent brother runs it now) and camalot amusements in truro which is where i go. in the truro arcade the % are pretty fair but in great western in newquay the % is a lot lower as the turn over of one off customers is much higher, ie if u loose in great western, so what? you wont have been coming back anyway. where as in truro where there is a higher % of regular players they like to try and keep them happy with higher % payout

Camelot Arcade in Truro is also my "local" arcade, not that i go in that much these days. Its a decent arcade as far as arcades go though.
Decent %age payout (86% i was told once - not sure if that is still the case?), Coffee in a real mug and a Leather Sofa
Unfortunately it suffers from the ever increasing Multiplayer lo-tech + Bingo invasion and has no arcade machines at all

Hi
Thay have just got one of thease on 10p £5 in the dunes arecade in South Sheilds, since it was there I have had several good runs on it, I tend to play early in the morning on Sat and if i can i will play all of the units, one after the other and you allways get the jackpot if the snake flash on entry, I must say I like this game on this stake payout, it seems to give a very good game and I have so far allways managed to come off it with a little profit.
