ive downloaded it but it says invalid layout when i try and load it

It means you need to load it in MFME v2.0, go to the download section and look under emulators.

Give It Time as FireCracker is not long been released but all the Layout Designers are Buzy working on W.I.P. ( Maybe ) @ The Moment
