For some reason today, I can't get any ROMS to load properly when trying to build layouts. Everything seemed fine yesterday - maybe I am missing something!

I load the roms (according to their type - I make sure of that)
Then I load the blank.dat and it shows.

Then I wait for the displays to light up, but nothing happens at all.

Done this with about 17 or 18 different roms and the same result everytime - the blank loads, but refuses to do anything.

Can't figure it out at all -I even emptied my windows/temp folder just in case something in there was blocking it, but to no avail.

Anyone help!!!!

I take it that when you've loaded in the roms (must be done in the correct sequence), that you've upped the delay in the config to a reasonable amount. It amazing how many times I forget to do this myself - thus leaving me thinking that the roms don't run.

You've come up trumps again DAD

That's exactly what the problem is - another crucial step to remember!

Thanks again, much appreciated.

:o :o :o :o Ooops..... another thing..to make things easier save the layout as a gam file when you have the basics sorted ..saves having to load everything by hand....;)
Cyberpunk:- alienated loner who lives on the edge of society in generally dystopic future where daily life is impacted by rapid technological change, an ubiquitous datasphere of computerized information, and invasive modification of the human body.....Hmmmmm
