All you are doing is leaving yourself subject to legal action from the manufacturers themselves, and I am doing everything possible to have sites that sell these ROMs taken offline.
You CAN'T sell that for which you do not have the copyright. If P2P has shown anything, it is that sharing stuff for free is not the end of the world, but selling pirate material leaves you open to legal action.
If it comes to it, I would be more than happy to do whatever it takes to have people that run these sites taken offline, be it through repeated requests to ISPs for breaching their T&Cs of service, or through whichever hosting company has been used.
If anyone wants to add anything, that is fine.
I'm going to be trying to get as many of these CDs off eBay as possible. Not because of any legal implications that they may have, but simply because they are profiting for other peoples hard work. If the authors decided to sell the emulators I would support them, but these are people taking the piss out of what emulation stands for and I for one will not tolerate it.
