depends what version is on there ross released a £10 version i edited it for £8 & £15 only one of each went out via pm. plus ross never added coin effects in the config menu

im a little bit annoyed by this, i am working on the other jp releases (spent 4 more hours on the art last night fine tuning a few bits), why is it that my name isn't on the £15 version. . . .  and why did you feel you should take on the other jp/stakes when i have already said i would?

for my own use, not for re-release as was never my work to release to the general public. you should lock the layout's captions then title name 'ie monopoly 60th £10 by ross' will remain there and cannot be changed.

when unlocked as you know you can change it to whatever you like, same goes for the fml. file which if locked can't be changed as you can see the fml is still the same and the captions are re-written to yourself

this subject (sloturus) is why wizard has given us the option to "lock" the layouts captions to prevent them being changed, it might be worth adding a warning notice to your layouts to for additional security

I.M.O the current lock option isn't worth using as you can still extract the images / edit lamps etc hence why i dont use it. Its made it harder to rip layouts for sure but i would estmate it would take no longer than an hour to make an open layout from a locked one.

Also, to anyone who thinks that I haven't responded to Vectra, I have personally, as it would of been either an all out slagging match as I know he has the balls to speak his mind which I respect or take it off grid. I have not changed my mind and neither has he as it is what it is and respect him for that!!

i have tried it but its impossible you'll need to reload the layout into a new fml.file and re-add the images and re add the lamps, try it with one of my layouts for example even if you readded a new decal like i did you'd still wouldn't be able to release as your own as it would still say "ross" on the captions etc so you'd get found out asap upon release.

That was my point but in essence if nothing changes then what is the point in flogging a dead horse. I may of only been around for a year or so but all I see is this topic constantly arising. I could say I don't give a shit because I don't create nothing and am not Wizard or an admin (probably good job I am not as have ejected members out of my group for a lot less which over the years has brought order to chaos), all I have to do is ignore everyone, donate and enjoy all the layouts...…so why should I care!!!!!

 

That fact is I do and seeing how creators as well as admin have such pride in their work in keeping the lights on and STILL uploading layouts just goes to show the passion and the love blooming whilst in FME land. I have said what I have to say and got shit off my chest. So IMO it would be in everyones best interest to make things slide if no conclusion can be made in this community.

 

 

I have no disability and am not emotionally unbalanced but whenever I play a layout (tonight it was Surprise Surprize by Pook, Ploggys Special Reseve, Vectras Twice as Nice and yes you TC The Maverick I always think of you and say thank you).

 

So call me an idiot, twat arsehole or anything else because no matter what happens I will always be eternally grateful with what I have been given.

not impossible at all, if you have the ability to load a rom and load images and set a lamp number you are good to go.

It is possible to make a layout from a published one,you will not be able to edit the caption at the top though,also you won't be able to import export lamps so you would have to do all that work manually which would take an age if you had shit loads of overlapping lamps. I know nobody want to go down teh locked layout route but,if it was possible to have an unpublished locked fml back too i don't see there being a problem,if someone needs and unlocked version then they can ask for it.

I have to ask why you feel the need to keep repeating that you have a mental illness, as though this could be construed as some excuse?

There are many many people who suffer from this and manage to live life without ramming it down others throats (no pun intended) and for the greater part, you would have no idea that there is anything wrong.

No matter how dark things get, some soldier on as best they can. They have good days, bad days and days where they feel they simply can't carry on!

Even when family friends know about it, they are never fully aware of what's going on. Only the sufferer is fully of what's happening inside their head.

Mental illness is one of those conditions that for the most part, hides in the shadows, always there, but hardly having the nerve to show itself.

People try to hide it, disguise it and simply deny it, but that doesn't mean it's not there.

It can seem so trivial and be the worst thing you can imagine all at the same time and can literally kill without warning.

You may think it's fine to try and use it as an excuse but I don't. I find the very fact that you seem to be doing this, to be the most offensive part of this entire thread and this is the reason I felt compelled to post.

If you're afflicted with this torture then I feel sorry for you, but please don't try to use it as a reason.

If you think I seem to have an affinity with mental illness, you'd be right, I've been trying to deal with it for years, sometimes successfully, sometimes not, but I have never once used it as an excuse.

Some might say that's why I'm a cnut, sorry you'd be wrong. I was just as big a cnut before I suffered from it!

Reason i havent been on for the last day or so, old friend ive known since first class junior school was found dead heart attack in the street on monday, found out yesterday about 6 oclock (tuesday).

Lessons are to be learnt from this
Lifes to short for backstabbing and bickering
And as richys said to about this guy theres a number of reasons this guy finally meet his end
And youve gotta ask yourself why he choose that path
Pier pressure, depression whatever.
Us as s community be it fruit machine enthusiasts, doesnt stop there
Members on here are like family, Ive had problems, theyve listened.
Daryl has his for example so have other members. Weve listened, talked to one another etc
Some unfortunately its been to late (still think of you up there thunderstorm, rip)

Whether richy is or was the seller or not I hope lessons are learnt from this topic, and maybe one day well find out whoever it was and that they admit there mistakes

Some take criticism and bad comments on the chin, others including myself dont , they can go into deep depression and we all know where that can lead

I agree with Vec's post, FME is a community and we should help everyone the best way we can.

Sadly 3 months ago I experienced a traumatic life changing experience (non medical) and friends on FME were there to help, even though we have never met face to face.

My condolences go out to you Richy, losing a life long friend under any circumstances can be very very hard to accept.

I agree with Vec's post, FME is a community and we should help everyone the best way we can.
Sadly 3 months ago I experienced a traumatic life changing experience (non medical) and friends on FME were there to help, even though we have never met face to face.
My condolences go out to you Richy, losing a life long friend under any circumstances can be very very hard to accept.
