Hi been given a ceasers palace machine in need of repair,
It runs on a jpm impact boards and the cpu card had quite bad battery damage, I have replaced the ic sockets and repaired all the corroded traces that I could find , but the machine still wont power up.
Also ic 13 pin 7 on the main board was removed and the reset led was missing.
I have replaced ic 13 and fitted a new led but still no joy.
With all boards removed from the motherboard if I power it up the reset light illuminates straight away and status light remains off, is this correct ?
With cpu card in I get a quick flash of the reset led then after about 3-4 secs it illuminates, but status led remains off.
Anybody had any experience in repairing these boards ?
