Cant say I have seen any pool tables that use this type of key, but they may be out there. Would not buy one for that purpose though, as most will not have that type of key switch fitted.
Why not go down your local pub and look? Chances are the keyhole is circular, not flat....... If its flat it stands a slim chance. Circular, none.......
Remember also, using a refill key on a fruity will not get you into trouble (I even reported a buyer of one to the police (con artist didny pay for ages), and showed them the key, and what it does, and Im not locked up) but using a refill key on a pool table (if you EVER find one that it works in, will 100 percent result in prosecution and probalby jail time (if you dont get a beating in its place), the courts for some reason are harsh in this respect.

first of all i do not know of any pool tables that use the same key as a fruit machine refill key.
second of all all the machines from the last 3 years will only allow you refill coins via the refill key and not tell you hopper balances and other stuff because the industry noticed the selling of keys on the internet and re chipped the software so the keys were of no use.

FM keys are L&F 87000s are they not?
As for pool tables, I'd assume they'd use something more secure than that. All the pubs I know which operate tables have to take out the mech and pour the balls onto the table for freeplay :S

All the 5 machines I have use 87000s, I assumed that was the accepted standard for all machines?

They do still allow you to change the volume

i think it must be for blind pool table users, inserting the key into a standard league table will give a voice over, like `3 yellow balls and 1 red ball in hopper`
as for RF_MANIPULATORS i now take it upon myself to email EVERY person who has bid on the item, and tell them what utter bilge the scam is, giving them the link to maplin.co.uk
THEN
email the person selling it, telling them that they are obtaining money by deception.
have not started on these illegal `pool table` key people yet, perhaps kensplace or dave1de could be of assistance?

some companies have now changed the programme so it doesn't allow you to change the volume either when all doors are closed and will only change the volume when the first cash door is open.
i beleive red gaming and bellfruit are doing this.
mind you red gaming have got bigger concerns at the moment regarding fraud.

Had to laugh at this description of a refill key on the bay:
EVER WANTED TO EMPTY ONE IN LESS THAN 30 SECONDS < LEGALLY > WELL WITH THIS CHEAT KEY IT MAY BE POSSIBLE,
Then it goes on to describe how you find out the balance etc., even if you find a full machine, its going to take you longer than 30 seconds to empty a £125 hopper, infact, you wouldnt even empty it at all, your likely to win a more money than you put in and thats all.
To be honest the people that really annoy me on ebay are the RF sellers and that bloody cheat ebook. Argh the descriptions of those books really piss me off "empty a fruit machine in 30 seconds legally", then it turns out to be the 'stripping' system, which is the biggest load of balls ever. Ok, so the guides to the machines might be useful to somebody who has no idea what a fruit machine is, but the way they sell them as books on how to win hundreds annoys me so much.
If anybody has a good email i can send this guy selling the empty a amchine in 30 seconds guy, ill send it off to him and all other refill key sellers claiming the same thing, also if anybody has any good ideas of what to put in an email for the cheat ebook sellers, ill email them too :-D

its a fraudulent physical fraud not a cheat or emptier.
i can't go into big details but lets put it this way it requires about 2 people,a 50p,a piece of wire,a crocodille clip and a screwdriver and red gaming have released all the updates last week to combat the fraud.
there is an alarm that is programmed into barcrest and vivid games to combat a certain short circuit but red gaming programmers forgot to put it in and fraudsters found out about it and basically emptied around a dozen machines in devon area.
its not an easy fraud to perform
thats all i can say i'm afraid.
btw the guys were caught and got put in jail.
