Hi. was having pizza and a drink. left electrocoin's bar-x 10p £5 running in background, and ... Next thing I know, it starts playing Fur Eliz! I thought it was the PC beep sound, so quickly did a virus scan in case a hacker was making my computer beep strangely. So the question is, is the beep coming from the machine or the laptop? or have alians invaded in the world of pizzas lol? Other electrocoins I've seen have never had this cheat.

never heard of bar-x playing Beethoven's fur Elise  so may of been a program in the background of your computer running

Hi vex, no other program apart from MFME was running. Just that and my screen reader programme. This has never played it either! Will do a little YouTube ponder later on to see if anyone elses real Bar-X machines do this, could be a faulty thing in electrocoin's programming lol. Try it! It takes ages for it to kick in, but it does eventually! I'm going to make it do that exact same thing at my dad's tomorrow. I'll test out big 7 as well! Now, time for Uventus against Realle Madrid at Cardif on 5 live!

have you something like utorrent running in the background?  someitmes 3rd party programs run ads etc.

To turn off the sound in attract mode, hit config, and turn dip 5 off.

i don't know why vecs has left it on, blame him for driving you mad.

Yes there most certainly is.

leave it running, whilst playing another game, and it does come on after about thirty minutes.

I think dip switch 5 needs to be on.
Never heard it in the arcade when i use to work there though.

Yep, can confirm bar-x does indeed have an attract sound called Fur Eliz, which can be forced to run via it's test mode, although in main mode, not often it runs, however when fitted with a chuzzy, tends to trigger more often.
