A very useful feature of the forums - use with care though!

As you may have seen recently, some users have been posting things which, lets be honest, are neither appropriate nor clever.

So, a useful feature of these forums is the Ignore button.

What this will do is NOT display posts from a certain user, or users.

It does have a disadvantage, in that sometimes a user becomes worthwhile listening to, but then you take them off the ignore list when you are ready to listen.

Anyway, heres how to ignore someone :

1) Get to their 'Public Profile' page, you can do that by clicking their name in the forums and selecting 'View this users Public Profile'

2) Then simply click the link, as shown in the picture :)

It is a shame when you have to start ignoring people, but it helps keep the forum off topic, and hopefully they will get bored from lack of replies to their spamming :)

Oh, I'm not suggesting you Ignore FM, just his was the 1st profile I came across :p

Hmm, never been a fan of the "ignore" feature on forums, but I know some people like them

Here's the question on everybodys lips: "can the moderators be 'ignored' too?" ;)

I assume so :p

Who in their right mind would want to ignore the insane ramblings of a confused 19 year old student though?

[no need to answer that one :p]
