I've done a Pacman type one, Manic Muncher...

 

...not sure if I can release it yet, need to impove the Pac-Man band but one that's better, this one is good to go.

Not a DOND pacman, but a machine I know I have definitely played, without needing to see a picture of it.

 

Quite entertaining, IIRC.

Reg id like to see a release of muncher please! Been looking for the roms since v5 came out to do a classic. Probably my favourite Vivid...also one of, if not the last vivid machines they released

they can be diamond in shape aswell as square

But then how do i connect the diamonds to the squares? They don't line up properly or make a decent shape. The issue the board itself, not the extra zones. Not enough spaces to make it equal.

 

I've decided to do it like this, made the squares at the bottom wider to compensate for it being 1 lamp short of a square.

Looks perfect to me, as you said maybe in the next update wizard could make the lamps rotational in edit mode or even some kind of skew type tool like in photoshop
Although you can make the diamond shape look like a square just need the dimensions right.

So does anyone know where the cut-off date is for runners in MFME V5? I know we have some £70 Barcrests emulated already but they were all £35 upgrades, will all 'native' £70ers be non-runners?

 

Bit of a shame we won't have the pleasure of the 'flickers' in emulated form, there was all sorts of stuff I wanted to have a play around with on those from the safety of emulated money

They're called flickers because when you will have mega streak in your box the £70 will flicker, as if it is upgrading the value of the box. It's Amazing is the same machine pretty much baring the upgradable values, but plays a very close game. Besides it can be taken for a £70 easily with Cash Climber.
