Anyone know how to disable or switch off the data pack option if fitted on a 2004 Bell Fruit Scorpion 4?

I recently purchased a 2004 machine (Mazooma ziggy with it) and as soon as I tried to take it off (connects top right of the board, I just unplugged the D connector) the system errors permanently saying "data port error 71). If I plug it back in and turn on all OK again.

Its a box with lights saying "Barcrest DP compak plus" and says door open IO/inputs stuff????

Any idea's? must be a way in the config you can switch off data logging.

Thanks.

hello

you need standard non data program chips.

since its a new machine you should be able to get the chips from the dealer you bought it from.

Thanks.

Nightmare eh! - I am a private buyer and there is no dealer unfortunatley - is there anything I can do or just leave the logger connected and forget it?

Thanks.

Phone up Mazooma tech support. They'll e-mail you the non-data proms, no problem. (Assuming you have something to blow them with obviously ;)) Although you might be able to get them to send you the chips already blown, worth a try asking at least.
