Hi. I have a barcrest Hot Stuff machine and this is my first one. I want to be able to change the payout from £5 jackpot to £35 jackpot however I don't really know how to do this.
I've gathered that I need go to change a key however I don't have this and after looking on eBay, I can't seem to figure out what I need. Can anyone help? Cheers

Hot stuff cannot be changed to £35, just £25 (If this is the one im thinking of). 

You need to change your price of play key, to the relevant switches.. and you may need a new set of proms.. (not too sure if this applies to this era of barcrest)

Hi, I've checked my machine and it is £25 so apologies. I am brand new to fruit machines as my wife bought me it as a birthday present.
I'm not sure what any of that stuff means.
Inside I know there are keys inside but I don't know what I'm buying or anything, please can somebody be a bit more specific or provide links etc? Thank you!

look on the main mpu5 board and it will be a coloured plug with the info printed on it, for example it would be white/yellow with 72% on it. the other could be a key as well or dip switch setting. so it could say £25/25p or read the manual to find the appropriate settings.

Thank you for the advice, I did a bit more googling and it all pieced together.
I bought a 25p £25 key from eBay for £2.90.
Basically I figures there are 2 types, those that have switches on to change which change the stake, or those that have a solid plastic cover that need to be replaced by a similar one that is preset to the stake/payout that you want.

If you have a fixed stake and prize key for woo 5 pound. Just take the key out and it should default to 25 pound 25p play.

Ah that advice was spot on! Reverted to 30p £25. Thank you
