Hey all,
Ok, maybe I'm being stupid, but it honestly doesn't happen that often so I'm guessing this is an actual problem....
Every time I try to run certain machines (e.g. Italian Job) I get two 'missing sound file' dialog boxes followed by a 'missing ROM file' error... Only seems to happen with a few M1A or MPU3/4 games, and it's the last error which confuses me the most. After all, I know the ROM's there, and the layout is visible after the errors although the 'machine' is dead.... Is this a MFME problem or am I actually missing sound files which I need to find elsewhere? (I'd have thought it'd still run but be silent in that case?)
Any help appreciated, thanks,
Wookie

Missing sound file (?) with Italian Job (& others)

Couple of things you can check here. If you are sure you unzipped the ROMs into the same directory :
1. Check that the ROMs didn't unzip into a subdirectory within the directory. This does happen with a couple of the ZIPs. If so just move them out ofthe subdirectory and then delete it.
2. Open the .GAM file in a text editor such as notepad and check that the ROM entry filenames match up with the filenames you have.
