Help please as the title suggests  my machine has recently developed  this Reel 6 Error 26 fault , what can this be and is it fixable? The machine starts to initialize all reels jump as normal then it comes up with the above and alarms. Would it be the top set of reels the righthand side one with the "6" on.

Its probably the 3rd reel of the top set but could also be the bottom 3rd reel. Do they all "jump" when initilising before the error? Check if one doesnt, because if not, it will be that reel. Check the plugs and the little black opto on the reel to make sure the reel tab passes through it ok when turned. If it doesnt even jump on startup, then its probably a connection issue rather than opto issue

just turned it back on and it started fine although the third reel at bottom didn't move when first switched on, not until the main "judder/jump" of all six reels after initialising it plays fine, I did notice when I originally bought it in nov 2015 the third top reel band has been re-stuck as its looser than the rest could this be the problem?
