I have this Rainbow Riches casino machine that is set on 70jp with no prize or stakes key or percentage key installed but I will like to set it to 5jp but when I put in the prize key northing happens

 

​The machine has the 5 jp decals and 10p hopper in but I am unable to get it on 5jp

 

​anyone able to help me out ?

 

This machine fully plays and works on 70jp

Maybe you need a different set of ROMs, my machine had the £70 ones installed and a separate set for the £5/35 settings as the £70 set won't change.

I would like to change my machine down to £5 the manual says I'd need £20x10p,s for the 10p hopper where would this be inside the machine can you post a photo of the hoppers in yours please.

What tech is this machine? - I was hoping it is mpu5 - if it is what is the programme version number on the game/flash card?

 

when I've been looking around for images and info on this machine I found like vecs says only the £35 version is switchable to £5.

It is MPU5, all the ones on my sites are anyway.

will this run on the newer versions of mmfe at if the roms are availble

I would hazard a guess and say no. Proberbly get the same result as the red gaming machines.

Because the roms are £70 only it wont even bother looking at the stake/prize key. There will be other rom sets available that are £35/£5 switchable. This is common when £70 upgrade kits came out for those on £35.

The newest mpu5 game I got to run was Rocky lo tech £35 - hopefully with RR being a similar age it might just run - if I can get hold of the roms to find out

This is the game card from my Raindow Riches Casio Machine its a flash card type i like a game card with 5 and 35 jackpot on it anyone got one ?

Thanks for the pic - is the flash card readable in a card reader?

Here's the £35 rainbow riches rom - tried running it in the emulator - but have a "no ticks" error, not one I've seen before, but I guess it's a real time clock error

It helps you because you now have the game rom file - you're half way there now ....

It does unfortunately - the chr is 15666

So get a another game card a compact flash card a upload the file to the machine?
