Right it has been known for some time now that NTL were upping the speed of their broadband, the other half got connected a month ago and was running at the new speed, and I was still at the old speed, thinking when the f@ck are they getting it together?
Today I sorted it, all you have to do is go to www.ntlworld.com select upgrade your speed, and it gives you the option of a free upgrade. I went from 700K for £24.99 to 2MB for £24.99.
I wonder how many people will be sitting at the old speed not knowing this, as they aint said nothing to no-one?

I've been with Wanadoo on 512k for a year now and only last week I surfed the Wanadoo site only to find out that I can now upgrade to 1K and pay the same price a month....£17.99. There is a £20 upgrade fee though. My point being...It was nice of them to tell me that the upgrade was available... NOT!!!
I'm also pretty pissed that new customers can join and not pay the extra £20 but existing customers have to pay.....Not fair.

It was annouced about 3 months ago that Btinternet would be doubling their customers line speeds free of charge over the next 6 months or so. A long wait I thought, but 2 days later I had a nice 2Mb line
