Hi everyone.

Does anyone know how easy it is to totally change a game on a Barcrest MPU4 fruit machine? By that I mean changing the screens, reel bands (If you have to) and the bulb wiring etc, I do know about changing the game board on the MPU.

I have a Crystal Maze, and wondered if it was a pretty standard cabinet and if there are other games I could swap it to, by fitting their screens etc. or if it is going to be too much hassle for what its worth.

Thank you for reading this message and keep up the gambling.

too much hassle mate

we used to buy the kits for our machines when we were using mpu 4 but it caused so many problems.

thats why there are now specific companies that buy old machines and put their own kits in them.

ie mazooma,qps.

its a pain in the ass trying convert crystal maze from £8 jp to a £5 5p not just a decal change the kit was by bwb change the glass feature and reel many years ago as this was one of many thats if you have plastic hard top barcrest cabnet can be converted to many other but duty free the winner takes it all glasses reels buttons will be the hardest thing to work around and the 4 reel being in th wrong place when you line up the top glass just stick the thing on the bay and make some money on it
