Are there any fruit machine emulators that work best for a slow machine. I am running a 5yr ish PC on windows 98. Club Crazy Casino isn't too bad but Pyscho cash beast is a nightmare.

Look for machines that have fewer lamps, your best bet would be some lo techs like triple madness, 10 x 10 and pure madness.

Classics also run better than dx's on old machines.

When I have a Duron 800 MHz, 256 MB RAM, all JPeMu works fine for me.
I like very much Tomb Rider. MFME it works a little bit slow.

Now I have a much better computer, Athlon 64, 512 MB RAM, GeForce 5700 with 2 monitors, but MFME2 works very bad (not all the time). I have problems when I start the emulator. Also I try MFME2 on P4 at 2.4 GHZ, 512 MB RAM, but I have the same problems (not all the time). I think MFME cannot works with a driver or an application that runs on my computers.

Hang on, I think the problem may well be a case of incorrectly set delays than having a slow PC.

Anything above say an Athlon 700 / P3 700 should be adequate for playing most machines, and they have been around for say 6 years.

I'd recommend a look in the Knowledge Base :

http://www.fruit-emu...=viewforum&f=23

I'm sure theres details in there of how to speed machines up :)

You will find that more recent machines will need to have the speed or delay settings changed more, that is because people are using more recent machines, and also in MFMEv2 you need to change the speed setting in huge incremements to make a difference.

Still, the Knowledge Base knows all, so check it out :p
