I would Like to start a Great database for Fruit ME

It will be Word Document

Like This :

Fruit Machine Name / Fruit Emulator / Details / Screenshot

But the screenshots maybe get used off this website ONLY If i get Full Permission

This Might come in Handy for some .......

Please do so If ya want to say anything ... feel free to PM me or reply

I will Send a Screenshot to the Admins to make sure if it will be ok ...

Hi,

Although I'm not having any luck going through the search functions on any of the FME sites at the moment, I'm sure Trouty [Troutman], had put together some kind of Fruit Machine database, using a front end for the emulators - although I can't remember any details other than it used a DAT file for storing the information [I think ]

Might be worth getting in touch with him, I would but I've got to run off to work as someone called in sick and I couldn't think of a lie quickly enough when asked if I wouldn't mind working today

Good luck, that will take ages....Something thats needed I think and will be really helpful.

Do you intend having it here, your site or as a One off? the only reason I ask is it will need to be updated regularly.

I will have it all the time and updated only weekly ... But can i have permission to use the screenshots on the website please as this will help me a lot more aswell

Also The DataBase will be in separate sections ... MFME 1 then MFME 2 etc

But it will start tonight and have it completed by next week hopefully

You could always get one of us to make it a knowledge base article, it will probably be useful.

Maybe have a post saying what it is and an attached zip file that can be replaced each week that actually contains the database.

You would need to pm it to the original creator of the kb article each week though.

How's machine database grab you? :?

My whole point was, if you contact Duplu or Wozza it may be possible to get this added to the documents and have a proper database.

I really don't think the idea of just posting is really eye grabbing, seem's a waste of hard work to me!

Thought about adding the Res of the layout to this, which I'd have thought was quiet important as it's a DB?

As for using the pictures, we do not own them, they belong to the Layout Authors. as long as this will not be sold or used for financial gain and freely distributed to the general community I personaly can't see any problem.

If any designers have a problem with this please speak up now.

I was gonna start it tonight but give it a few days till i get permission from the layour authors and then i will start it straight away

I was under the impression that when the forums get moved onto VBulletin that Layouts would be sorted out in a database type format anyway, and I was intending to split them into different resolutions somehow [although hadn't decided how].

What I basically mean is that it is a good idea, but I wouldn't like it to become redundant when the forums are upgraded, which could be in the very near future!

WTG thats a Great start but who do the layout and screenshots belong to ?
