i keep getting an "invalid layout" message when trying to run the latest MFME roms.
i have the latest emulator from this site. is there a simple solution to this problem?

Are you trying to run a JPeMu layout in MFME2?

You get this message when you are trying to run an MFME2 layout in MFME1 or a BFMulator layout in either version of MFME.
I would suggest checking which version of MFME you have. MFME 2 is available as a separate download within the emulators section.

I didn't realise that a BFMulator layout would give this error, but I forgot that both MFME and BFMulator use .gam files, so can see how it would say 'invalid layout'
