Have arrived at something of a crossroads with the http://www.fruit-machine-sales.com site, as there is a completely new version of the software available:
https://www.phpprobid.com/demo

The problem is that no one uses the site at present, and so combined with the ongoing issues with the Gambling Commission it's difficult to justify spending time and money on it.

So the question is where to go from here? There's no question of closing that site down but until I find a solution that actually generates revenue, there isn't likely to be a lot happening with it...

Where does the law stand on you hosting a site that sells fruit machines? Is it only responsibility of a seller to ensure they have the correct credentials to sell a machine? Or can you also be breaking the law by allowing a site to run where people could potentially sell a machine or parts without a licence? If you are not going to be liable in any way surely its worth keeping, especially as there will be a demand for such a place. Even facebook selling sites have been shit down recently!

Ah. I may have changed a setting to reduce spam, and inadvertantly stopped anyone being able to register...

Having never used your site before, I can't really comment but have you tried any sort of social media integration? Also, it would be nice for the site to be responsive and react to the size of the screen of the user - it currently renders the full site when accessed via a mobile.

What are the current issues with the gambling commission? Does your site offer anything to combat the issues?

That's the thing really, the new software version features responsive templates amongst a raft of other improvements.

I had a Facebook page for the site but it had limited success and I'm no longer on Facebook at this time.

The issues with the Gambling Commission and the law are complex, I will go into the details further when I have more time...

I was thinking more along the lines of people being able to log on via Facebook into your site - less credentials for the user to manage can only be a good thing ...

Ah right I see what you mean.
A Facebook login system is available as a paid-for add-on to the current version. It might be included in the new version as standard. I'm not certain.
