I was going to say it could be a 24v problem but then I read about the rom chip.
needs to be replaced for sure!

Looks like its also very badly battery acid damaged, looks like a goner to me TBH.
Most likely going to need a new EPROM and epoch main board, good luck with that!!

New motherboard needed too. Straighten the legs on the eprom unless any are missing.

As others have already said a new motherboard will be needed as you can see in your pictures that the battery has leaked green acid all over the board and epoch boards die with only the smallest of leakages. The roms are likely still to work if the legs are straightened very carefully and reinserted properly, as long as no legs have snapped or broken. New motherboards are about £40 on ebay buy ONLY buy a guaranteed working one.

Have you got the decimal point in the wrong place? Should it read £4.99 ?

Deffo the same board, fifty quid for a knackered board!

That's crazy. And the green fur is VERY noticeable. No body would touch that with a barge pole. Working ones sometimes come cheaper. Worth a fiver at best!
EDIT: I see he's selling all the parts from it. Obviously broken it up now.
