Jeeze they are all popping off of late.
RIP Mike.
I remember the day's when he did the top-20 and I used to try to 'tape' them all and have as little chat on the end as I could.

Mike Smith and Noel Edmunds were great mates I seem to remember and flew helicopters together. A shock to hear that he had heart surgery and did not recover.
59 is no age these days. A sad loss from a great era that will never be repeated.
