Killcrazy very very kindly sent me a new board about a week ago now, which seems to of cured the DIP switch and weird flashing lights problems I was having.
But with epoch being epoch I now have some new problems!
Basically as what happens in this video (https://www.youtube....eature=youtu.be ) is my problem, after about £2 worth of spins on 10p a go reels seem to go out of line to the point where the machine freezes but it gives no error, as you can hear the reels land with the sound so the machine is aware to process the sound when the reel lands, its not as if it is going out of line due to a bad sensor, they also seem to get very boucny before it starts to happen.
If I turn it off and on I get MEM Reset Error, Even though it has a brand new battery and remebers volume and float level, then asks me to set the clock, attempts to sync the reels at which point usually only 1 spins, then it locks up with no errors, but still responds to doors being open!
It has had a repair where someone has solderd across about 5 pins on the back of the security chip? This fell off after I removed the board to have a look, so I soldered it back on properly but I still have this problem?
Anyone know what I can do as the board seems to be in very good condition!
