Does anyone remember these. Used to love em as a kid. They stopped selling em, ages ago. They are back and on sale at tescos. They taste the same as they did 24 years ago.

Asda started selling them in January at £1 each I used to buy loads of them, they brought out the multipack first then the share bag (I don't think so). But they taste like they you used to so it's no wonder I'm addicted to them.

Before closing down recently our local corner shop use to sell potato puffs, they were great. Anybody remember the Texan bar or assorted Toffo's, and what ever happened to the Pink Panther chocolate bars. Happy days.
Come here to post jokes, oh and to play the occasional frutie.

Yeah Fish and Chips were great. I also remember Chicken and Chips as well. Spicy Tomato Snaps were also very enjoyable.
Those white chocolate fish and chips they used to do in my local corner shop some 25 years ago were superb. A few of those mixed with some fizzy cola bottles was a delight.
Watch out! There's a SIG thief about...

No you are not, neither do I.
These snacky products are new to me and I can go back many years. Savoury snacks and sweets were a regional product years ago. Nowadays the likes of Seabrooks (C Brook) from Yorkshire are available in supermarkets all over the country.
T.C. has started a very interesting thread here, as people from different eras and regions have different recollections from their childhood.
If anyone is really interested in this subject I recommend a visit to 'The Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising', owned by Robert Opie in London next to the Portabello Road. I have visited this museum and it's brilliant.
Here's a link to the web site....

I remember them fish n chips there was a Topic about these on here a while ago, also chicken n chips they were little drumsticks and the chip shaped snacks also I'm sure they did a salt n vinegar variety in blue n white packets. Also remember when diet coke first came out think it was mid 80's never catch on people thought with the new fangled ring pulls that stayed on the shorter fatter tin and Heineken in little stubby cans, and people moan about paying more than 50p for a can of lager in supermarket but I remember only offies flogging it at min £1 a can.
The more I do today, The less I do tomorrow.
