Watching a program as named above... there was a man on it who had an obsessively ordered collection of over 7000 beer cans.
So the question is, what odd collections do people have (other than fruit machine related stuff)?

Have cleared a vast quantity of stuff now. Fruit machines, computers, old telephone switchboards, any crap (working or not working from the skip at work), anything to do with london transport, old tins of paint that have dried up years ago, cardboard boxes in the loft that belonged to stuff I chucked out years ago, bits of wood, cables that belong to pieces of equipment I can't even remember the name of.
I have many Amigas and a container full of floppy discs to go with them. Car and truck magazines that go back to the 60's, light bulbs, batteries. I, like Vecs also collect dust . Should have a forum.
Mrs RDP has managed to make me tidy up most of this crap!!!!

After all this hype about 50ps I checked a rather large amount I have and found none of those kew gardens. I did gather a large amount of different designs though.
So went to royal mint and ordered a couple of albums to put them in. Proper 50p albums and also a £2 coin album also.

Once I get a 'collector' type hobby it rapidly gets out of control so I try not to bother these days.
One example being my old Pachislo / Pachinko collection. At one point I had 4 Japanese machines in my bedroom - from memory it was a Super Blackjack, King Camel and Neo Pharaoh Zetz (all pachislo) and a Lord of the Rings Pachinko. Doesn't sound like much but took up pretty much all space on my fitted bedroom units - and the weight didn't do them any good!!
My main collection at the moment would be music, film and TV, but luckily I keep it on a set of internal / external HDDs, and keep the discs in the garage (somewhere!) so everything is easy to keep in order on the PC - but as part of my 'perfectionist' type behaviour, all files have to be perfectly named, in the correct format, no spelling mistakes, all capital letters in the correct place, correctly tagged, e.t.c.
Doesn't sound bad but if I make a change on one drive I have to then make the same change across all other drives, most of which aren't networked
Stupid thing is, I've got hundreds of films that I always intend to watch, but tend to stick to the same 20 or so. Same with music, I have a great collection of rock / metal, but once I get a particular album in my rotation, it stays there until I feel like a chance - bit of a waste having such a huge collection
