Hi,

Is somebody able to send me a service manual for this particular game please, or a link to it..?

Many thanks,

Ant.

A generic MPU4 field service guide should pretty much cover all hardware aspects of the machine, or are you looking for something more pecific to the actual game itself?

If the latter, will be quite hard to source this, but the field guide will most certanaly cover most of the hardware.

I've just got this and the hopper appears not to be working correctly. When it is about to payout it errors with "obstruction error"

When I look in the hopper the £1 has been taken and the disc started to move but not enough. If I wind it on by hand the £1 drops out. Not jammed, just looks like it does not move round enough.

I also wanted the manual to know how to run the tests, bulb soak etc...

Right, sounds like you have an MPU4 machine with the extra large T-card, as it has extra drivers for the hopper etc.

The hopper will be a type from Coin Controls..... basically the machine is pretty much the same setup as my old BWB Championship Soccer, cab included.

I suspect you may have an issue of some description with the opto sensor on the hopper, so what I would suggest here, is do a full strip and clean, and try again.... see if the fault clears then.

I've just broken a working Rocky Horror. The bottom glass art fell off the glass when I closed the machine up so that was the end of it.

The artwork on these machines is terribly fragile. If it comes into any contact with the cold or damp it will be ruined in a matter of weeks.

If you can't get the hopper running, let me know. I'm pretty sure I kept the hopper and driver board out of mine. (I will want something for it though)

See if you can fix yours first.

Paul

Thanks all. I'll strip it and check the sensors.

If still no joy I'll come back to you Paul :-)

Easy repair in the end then! That's good news.
