Hello all, had my Elvis Top 20 for just over a month now and seem to be having a few issues which I'm hoping the tech guys on here may
be able to answer for me.
Firstly after opening main front door and re-closing, machine decides to stop the right hand speaker working and only left one works.
I know it isn't a loose connection as I switch machine off, re-boot and everything is fine, but if I repeat the same action, the same
thing happens?
Any idea what is causing this?
Trapped or loose wire, dodgey speaker, bad connections where wires soldered to it, could be anything really, but I'd try testing the wires first, seeing as it seems to happen when you've had the door open.
Secondly I have put over 23 grand through it and not one jackpot yet.
Is this normal or are there settings inside that are preventing it from doing a jackpot? Totally normal, keep at it and you'll get there in the end. You'll porbably find that once you get a JP, if will give a cple close together.
I did hear a rumour that this can be done to £500 B3's, so wandering if this is the reason? Never heard of it on a Rio, I thought it was only the more recent Astras that had it done to them, least that's what I heard, but not 100% on that.. If you're using the games you had off me, then it certainly doesn't apply as these all give JP's.
It's targeted at 92% and has been sitting at an average of 85% for about the last 10 grand, but still no big win. Patience is a virtue!
Finally when un-installing a game and re-installing rainbow for example it loads up the boot bar, gets to 100% completed
and then freezes, sometimes at the 100% mark and sometimes the game is frozen once loaded up and the only solution
I am finding is to switch it off and install again?
Is my machine ok or am I having pc issues? If it keeps freezing, it sounds like your HDD is on it's way out to me, had a similar problem, changed HDD and it never did it again. They take a lot of stick with power being cut everytime you switch it off, it's a PC at the end of the day, and would you do the same to your home PC..... no, you shut it down properly, not just switch it off every time.
It's just I have a week warranty left and wandering if these problems are nothing, or whether to do something now before
it's too late.

I'm adding this here as well, as I can't be arsed quoting loads of posts..........
You can have all the bpaks loaded on the HDD at the same time, but on a Rio, you can only have ONE game actually installed at a time. When you want to change to a different game, it gets installed over the previous one and you have to enable it after it's finished. AFAIK Rios never had the software to be able to have a choice of games on a homescreen like 777's and 888's have.
When playing in demo mode the hopper is disabled so although it may give credits for coins entered (something which I haven't tried as there doesn't seem much point when pressing start gives you 25 quid credit) it won't pay any out, it just counts the bank down.
Do you have a link to where you've seen people using money in demo mode please?
