Hey all,

Down to just one machine in the garage. Bought the Can You Dig It? for £60 and sold it on for £50 (so as you can see, I don't do this for profit, just out of impulsiveness!).

This time I'll consider basically anything, but not interested in machines which are really, really old (ideally 20 years or newer!).

Anything from £5 Jackpot > £500 Jackpot. Definitely have a soft-spot for Section 16 / Cat B3 machines (especially Barcrest ones).

If you are local I can collect, if you are happy to deliver I can pay your fuel, or failing that we can sort out a courier, if you are happy to work on that basis.

Ta :)

Just got my Tetris back up and running after the MPU failed, £40 for another one (which is what I paid for the machine in the first place) and its back up.

Plays alot better now it has a working battery and quite enjoying it at the moment but no doubt ill look for swaps in 6 months or so

Is Tetris one you would consider (for future reference..)

Hi Bencrest,

If i see anything that is worth having I will certainly let you know. it's getting towards the end of the season in the coastal arcades and they might be having a clearout. Also keep an eye on the Florin Diner for anything.

Yeah, I'd be interested, but unfortunately it's not one of those 'oh my god let me get my car keys!' type machines... if you know what I mean! :)

Cheers - yeah, I noticed on eBay that there's already pushers / grabbers and redemption machines appearing so arcades are definitely starting to clear out.

I'd like to call the Florin but I feel a bit awkward calling a diner (who probably want me to talk about food!) only to ask if they've got any fruit machines for sale :D

Interesting but I was offered one cheaper by a well known national supplier so couldn't do £175 (although I'm sure there's a bit of wiggle room!)

Norwich is convenient though. If you don't mind me asking where did you buy from and when? :)

I'm having a little think about the machine below, but if I were interested, then from a private seller I'd be thinking about £140 (Aztec wanted £165 and would have lost £16 in eBay fees, so they'd have gotten £149 and have a very good reputation).

... Actually, that's the sort of thing that does interest me - something unusual with a bunch of different settings, and I assume it's on MPU5 which is my favourite hardware? :)

I'll have to mull it over a little but I like £50 machines... don't make a loss if I do get bored of them that way :D

Is the emptier repeatable in the emulator? If not I'd see if I could get the ROMs dumped. If so, don't suppose you'd mind letting me know what it is? :D

[edit] Found it here, no worries :)

That's interesting. I'm guessing I'd need a new set of PROMs to go back to £35 since on most machines the £70 jackpot upgrade removed the £35 option, but just having the decals would be useful :)

Cheers for offering, it's a very good price but I think I'm leaning away from DOND machines at the moment. I'll let you know if I change my mind though :)

Hi Nick,

Thanks for the offers. I'd rule out Austin Powers and Squids In straight away - owned Austin Powers and gave it away, and Squids In isn't quite what I'm looking for.

I do like Italian Job but am a bit scared of EPOCH hardware (aarrghh!!). Does it have decals for various jackpots?

Jackpoteers would also be interesting, depending on condition and decals.

However I must admit the one I'm mainly looking at now is Spa's Rob Da Bank - waiting to hear back on price for that one.
