Not something simple like the connector has come loose from the hopper or on the mainboard?

I already answered this on your other thread.

Try cleaning the opto sensors on the hopper.

Anticipating your next question, as to where they are ;) , they're where the quids come out of the hopper.

Thankyou so much for your help. :)  We have taken the hopper apart and found the sensor and cleaned it and now it works just fine. The only problem we still have with it is that it has a loud hum coming from the speaker. It still plays all the music and says all the words but they are overshadowed by the hum/buzz. Any ideas what this could be.......... :oh:

would there be anyone on here that would be interested in fixing or spice is right machine.

Most machines have a buzz through the speaker. Its usually normal, especially when more lamps are lit. If its causing you a problem, its likely to be the PSU at fault. But honestly, unless its driving you insane, I would leave it.

Agreed with above - Most do this but your never hear it in a live pub due to noise - Its just the speakers picking up the voltage as the lamps pulse in attract mode.

You could end up buying another psu and not clear the problem.
