Hopper does not pay out coins

Best Answer No1Stoney, 25 September 2013 - 09:16 PM

If the hopper is working now I would say the door switches have sorted your problem. Yea wasn't sure if the yellow ones are needed as they are not in the top door switch. Not sure why your orange and blue wires needed to be different way around, but if its fixed it then that's the main thing! Glad you got it sorted. Go to the full post

Does your machine have a note acceptor fitted?

To change the stake should be easy, but it depends on whether you have a switchable stake/prize key in your machine or not. Open your top door, look at the main board. On the sticker, it should point to the stake/prize key. Does it have 8 little switches on it? or not?

If you want it on £5 Jackpot / 10p play, set the switch to 00011000 (where 0 is off and 1 is on) so switch 4 and 5 are on only. Let us know how you get on

If the note acceptor was working ok before, then either the machine hasn't enough coins in it for the notey to work, or if you've already changed it to 10p play £5 JP, then it might not work at all, depending on the software.

You can either fill the hopper or press top up button to make it think it's full.

Or if you switch dil 5 to on, then it will switch note inhibit off and should allow machine to accept notes no matter how few coins are in the hopper.
