Hi all.

Pure long shot, but does anyone on here watch the TV comedy "Bottom" with Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson? If so, do you listen to the theme tune on the closing credits? Well, I'm certain that years ago there was a fruit machine out there that played this tune, either on the feature itself or on nudges, but everyone is saying I am wrong :/ I know my machines, and I know for certain that there was one that this played on, but can't remember what it was called or what it looked it. Can anyone help me out, and if poss, post a vid or some pics.

Haven't got a clue. Can only imagine it was prior to my playing days, or an obscure machine - Empire or similar. Was a huge fan of Bottom (wore out the 'scratch and sniff' on my Live VHS boxset very quickly!) so I'd have remembered if I'd seen it.

Can you remember what the jackpot was at the time? Was it in the £10 / £15 days or before?

It was a club one, so it could have been £100, £200 or £250 Jackpot. I remember the place I saw it, it was in Highfield Holiday Park in their entertainments room, that's about as much as I can remember :/

Can't remember, but this link to the theme tune might jog someones memory.

The song is performed by a jazz group called 'The Bum Notes', which included Ade Edmondson.

Also a huge fan of 'Bottom' and 'The Young Ones'.

Are you talking about "Love Is The Drug" by Roxy Music?
