Hi guys.. once again im stuck with something annoyingly simple.
My coin mech is not diverting any pounds to the cashbox when the hopper is full. The machine knows its full.. iy diverts all silver and £2 to correct cashbox.. and diverts all pounds to hopper but once full continues to put I hopper. Im kinda figuring a routing plug is wrong as ive tried several coin mechs.. and still the same result. Trouble is I have no idea about how routing plugs are designed to work... they just seem to work lol..

Any ideas??

Sounds like the hopper doesn't know its full, whats the machine?.

Theres normally a hoppers topped up button you press.

I'm not too sure on this. But I know some machines have a weight-limit on the hopper. If you push down on the hopper bowl does it make a click noise? Maybe it only diverts if the weight limit is reached. I know my simpsons machine has this. however it still abides by the float level too..

Could be the little levers inside the hopper sticking.

 

When a machine is ready for dropping it diverts with a little movement inside the mech.

 

If that isn't working it could be the problem.

 

Just because the hopper is full, doesn't mean it will automatically divert, make sure the machines memory knows it is full also.

Yeh the machine is definately in a "full" state.. I think I need to make some new routing plugs.
I would imagine my route inhibit plug is bust. I just found a manual for the 126 coin mech.. so ive got a basic idea on how the routing plugs work now.
