I just downloaded the MFME2 file from this wonderfull site.
I then unzipped it into its own folder then double clicked on
the icon to run it.
all i got was a error message saying dinput8.dll not found
so i ran a check with google and found a site witch i could
download the formentioned missing dll into the same folder
as MFME2 tryed again now i get a grey box with the title
MFMEv2.exe - Entry Point Not Found. in the main box it says The procedure entry point GetRawInputDeviceInfoE could not be
located in the dynamic link library USER32.dll.

I am running Windows 2000 sp4 with a pent II chip (i know its a bit old but MFMEv1 and the jpm emulators work fine)

any help would be greatly apreaciated :) :)

What the first error message basically meant is that you had an old version of DirectX installed. I think the first thing you should do is go to www.microsoft.com and download the latest version [9.0c?], which can be found under 'gaming' I think.

I just hope your graphics card and CPU will be up to it, MFMEv2 seems a little more processor intensive, you will need to put the 'speed' value in it to at least a million I would think :)

OK i have solved it now.
I deleted the version i downloaded last night
and I just got a fresh copy from here.
I then placed it in the same place as the first version.
Now it works fine took me all day mind you.
