Not one of them T-Mobile dongles is it? 1gb a month for £15, yet they advertise saying it lasts for 30 days when infact 1GB lasts less than a day.

Yep not the allowance that's the problem although I wasn't getting the correct amount so complained and they,ve given me £5 for 3months, it's the coverage old place good signal moved a tenth of a mile down road and its pants, all t-mobile say is in an ethnic accent in Delhi,
maybe its your sim card! What! On 4 devices. I think its time for another go at them wake up call to t-mobile

I had a similar problem with T-Mobile although mine was when I was in a certain area I could not make or receive calls and the response from the good lady at t-mobile and  I quote ( well when you are in that area do not use your phone ) erm let me think when i'm out don't use my mobile yes because that will work won't it.

Yes this topic has gone off topic but only stating t-mobile doongle was poop at uploading some of dadsfme layouts.
Back to topic is there any more layouts form dads or are they gonna be put on here in one BIG release later on?

To be honest I was going to take this task on and setup a section here at Fruit Emu for DAD's layouts.

 

But looking at his database, and the amount of layouts that there are, I'm afraid that it is just far too much for me to be able to do at this moment in time...

 

...but all is not lost. If someone has the disk space, and available Internet bandwidth to be able to get the complete collection of DAD's layouts and save them, then I will gladly set up the section on here for DAD's layouts to be saved for FME posterity.

 

Now this is what FME is about - helping each other in a challenge - if anyone is up for doing this, or sharing among you particular layouts so as we aren't all downloading and sending the same layouts, then I will do the necessary section here...

 

Who's up for doing this?

But please only reply if you have download and bandwidth that is capable of doing this task... it will be a time-consuming challenge and I'm afraid poor download speeds and Internet access just won't be enough to manage this job needed to be done.

Didn't quote all of it Daryl, just a smidge to show what post I was replying to.

 

Why don't you set up a section on here though mate and give access to just one or Two people to add to it?..............there could be the thread where people upload the layouts to and they are taken from there.that would prevent duplicates.

 

Would that work?, I don't know it's just my input mate.

Can't understand why as you have the permissions.....are you uploading JPEGs?, if not then do it that way.

yes its not the broadband that costs but the connection to plug the phoneline in and landline costs @£15 a month just for line plus internet on top

isn't there such a thing as broadband, cable or fibre optic in your part of England? It is as cheap to run main broadband, as probably the amount you pay on your dongle!

 

I have Virgin Media and it costs me £6.99 a month for unlimited 30MB broadband (I was on 120MB for £14.99 per month, until my nephew left, and I really didn't need that speed anymore) - so it really is cheap to buy and use, and you will have much faster internet connection - come on... man up! lol
