evening all , iv just bought a rainbow richies machines £500 and it has the old section 16 game card a security chip on it , 

 

im looking to sell it or swop it for the newer verison game card if anyone can help

 are you able to upload the rainbowriches.bpak  to the reproserver ?

 

 

(you have to remove the HD and slave it to your system, them look in the barcrest directory of that drive copy the games. its highly possible it may have some of the other old section 16 games like cashino that both have progressive jackpot options on them)

hi nails , no im afraid not , the idiot i got it from deleted the old game bpak and uploaded the new version , also has elvis , cashino and £500 poker all with pots on and he deleted the lot . prob never see them games again

pointless deleting them, just untick the game and load another.

But isn't the bpak on the hard drive and the rom on the card?

 

The one on ebay had the rom. S16 bpaks are well and truely missing in action afaik.

Have looking into it a little bit. Roms are there, just bpaks are needed.

no not mine on ebay , the games can be deleted on the screen and cant be bought back once done . mine is a section 16 game card rainbow richies with the pots on top but i have the updated rainbow so need the game card for that , so willing to swop if someone wants mine .

theres no rom as such, its a pc, hard drive with pbak files (loaded via barboot menu) and a usb lead that plugs into the mpu board. this lead is so that when the program loads it can verify that the correct pik chip is inserted onto the mpu main board. (so you cant have rainbow riches running on a cashino base unit etc.) 

 

in regards to deleting them, that's highly unlikely as you insert your usb key and it finds which pbaks you wish to tick and upload. from there you can go back to the main menu and select which game you want to play.

 

theres is no reason as to why you would want to delete and game files unless one was corrupt.

sadly, a machine that would have been worth thousands is not worth 100 unless you can get the correct pik chip.
